Re: Help.... I'm stalled and cheating

Sorry to hear you're struggling a bit. I'm an October 2018 sleever myself. Hate to see someone going through bumps in the road. A good webpage to review is 5daypouchtest.com

    This plan can help...

Re: Totally Freaked Out! Need some feedback...

    JessNP,

Don't get discouraged. If all of these regretful people exist that your doctor speaks about, I've never seen them on here or never ran into them in my bariatric circles. I won't get into...

    Terrora,

A lot of people have recommended the information at 5daypouchtest dot com. Sorry about the "dot com". It wouldn't let me post the link. Some good reading and might help getting you...

    Re: Nervous about surgery!

It is normal to be nervous as the day approaches and the procedure is coming up. It is a major surgery and it's not something you can just reverse or get rid of after, if you are having some issues....

    Re: Liquid diet

You can do it! Get a good protein shake. The Protein Power and Atkins that have 30g of protein are pretty good in the chocolate flavor. They also keep you pretty full. Try to keep your mind busy....

Re: How do I know if I’m ready?

Completely normal to me. I felt the same way. 4 months since my surgery. I had those same feelings of "won't be able to eat that or do that anymore". You're already starting with what my NP calls...

Re: OMG went to Sleeve Siminar

    Welcome Larman,

I think everyone has covered the major points, and they've got more experience than me. My surgery was only a few months ago. But, everyone is correct. I wish I had done this...

Re: Surgery approval with previous heart surgery?

    Mmeghan,

I don't think the bypass will be an issue if she gets the cardiac clearance. When I was "jumping through the hoops" last fall, before my sleeve surgery, I had to get clearance from a...

Re: VSG Surgery in One Week... Want to Cancel

I'm a newbie also. My surgery is scheduled in about a week and a half. I think your second thoughts are normal, as I've had them too. Mine relate more to my years and habits of terrible eating,...
