The key seems to be all the muscle you are likely building by kickboxing etc. As stated above, muscle is heavier than fat so your "lack" of loss is being re-formed into muscle.

I'm planning on going back right away. I have a desk job though and don't *have* to do much getting up and around. Of course, that might not be reality once I actually have the surgery (May 27!!!).
