    I had the lap-band to sleeve surgery on Mar 27. I got my band in 2009 and I only had to do 10 days of pre-op. I did very well post-op, with no complications. It’s definitely easier this time...

    I think 3 days was about right. My agitation was from caffeine and sugar withdrawal but I was so excited to get my surgery that those feelings overrode any agitation I had.

    I was told by nut that decaf tea was ok, and counted as intake for the day. Many hot teas I found were decaf and I found decaf sun tea also. Good news for someone who drinks tea constantly!

    When signing consents, my surgeon has included a section about fixing hernias, if found, at the time of surgery. It’s very common for overweight adults to have it, so she fixes them routinely.
