Weight loss roller coaster 3 years after surgery
I had my sleeve 3 years ago and lost over 100 pounds in the 18 months.
Then the weight starting creeping back slowly over the next year and I was so disappointed in myself, depressed and discouraged, I was back up 35 pounds and felt like a failure.
About 8 months ago I was introduced to the link between weight gain and Gut Health. In the past 7 months I have lost 25 pounds, have more energy, no longer anemic, better mood, no longer constipated (after 20 years) and sleeping like a baby at night. I researched like crazy and got approval from my local doctor to start taking an all-natural supplement that is healing my gut, balancing my blood sugar and my 46 year old wacky hormones.
I’m honestly not even sure what is causing the weight loss. Is it because I’m better rested and less likely to lay on the couch at night? Is it because I’m not craving and eating chocolate during my PMS roller coaster? Is it because I’m less depressed so don’t go to potato chips for comfort? I don’t know but I do know it’s working like a charm and I no longer look in the mirror and think “you suck; you are a failure”.
I’d love to help out others who are in the same boat that I was 7 months ago. We can turn this around!

I wish I could, Greg.

Re: Weight loss roller coaster 3 years after surgery
I would like to know also. I have gut health problems I am 60 and also have post menopausal problems from non production of hormones. To put is bluntly, I have vaginal odor problems. I never had this before. I have been trying different treatments with my OBGYN. I just have not found a cure for this except boric acid suppositories. My doctor said that I can not use them indefinitely. Please PM me.

Re: Weight loss roller coaster 3 years after surgery
I've recently been trying to educate myself on the micro biome. I'm not taking supplements. I'm using food. I poor a little Kefir in my smoothie and eat Greek yogurt. I stopped using artificial sweeteners and I won't be taking antibiotics unless it is truly necessary. There are other foods which I haven't incorporated yet, probably because of my acid reflux. But they are sauerkraut, pickles anything fermented. I wish that meant wine but no, it doesn't. I'm not interested in taking any pill even supplements. Especially if I can get it in food.
Re: Weight loss roller coaster 3 years after surgery
I totally get that and I'm not trying to SPAM anyone. How do I share something that I have found to work really well for me without breaking the rules?
