Two Years 10/5/19 -- a few issues
What a fast two years it has been post-sleeve, and how wonderful all the support & information here has been. You guys just absolutely are the best.
My weight has been incredibly stable for the past few months, although as sraebaer & Ann2 have observed, gravity may mean as I head towards 68 I need to drop a couple of pounds, lol.
I am having some health issues, but not related to the sleeve. Ended up in ER with syncope, spent the night and now have a battery of cardiac testing going on. Finished the nuclear stress test without falling off the treadmill, lol. But lots ahead. Husband says probably another blockage, but sheesh, I already have 7 stents and a failed triple bypass, so I don't know how they will find any place to put one!
Prior to the sleeve, I had disabling, untreatable angina; post sleeve its been angina-free life until about 6 weeks ago. So grateful that my weight, cholesterol, blood sugars, and BMI are at optimum so that anything I need to do will be the proverbial "piece of cake".
I've had the same, awesome cardiologist for 14 years, and have great confidence in him and his team. So if I'm offline, you all are not forgotten.
I do keep you all in my morning prayers!
Hugs!

Ann,
Saying prayers for continued health and healing. You are such a rock star that I know everything will be fine. Congratulations on a great two years!

Congratulations on your two year surgiversary.
Being relatively healthy and a "normal" weight will certainly help you deal with your current issues.
Take care and please keep us posted on how you are doing.
Sending you all my good wishes

Good morning Annie. Sorry things aren’t going so great for you at the moment, but glad to hear you have your consistent positive attitude. That makes a huge difference. Take good care. You’re in my thoughts.
Re: Two Years 10/5/19 -- a few issues
Thank you all for your kind and caring comments.
First test was normal, which is great; I have two things on the 21st, but suspect I will be put back on a medication for microvascular angina. My uneducated guess is that post sleeve it improved, and with a stable weight for 2 years, probably "aging" has contributed to its return. It is no where near as bad as before, and probably will get medication for it once they are done with all the tests.
Hoping to avoid another cardiac cath (I have 7 stents and a failed triple bypass). Except for the persistent, unstable angina and fatigue, I feel great. Weight is stable, although unless rocking chair crocheting is an exercise, I don't feel like moving around.
The syncope has not been diagnosed as related to anything that they know yet. So being cautious sinc it was not as much fun to fall down as when I was 8. And we no longer have mercurochrome for our skinned knees.
Not tracking food right now, just weight. Food seems to be self-limiting, or I have perhaps gotten better habits post sleeve!

"And we no longer have mercurochrome for our skinned knees."
Haha - our knees were always covered in that stuff.
Glad that you are being careful.

Truly, I was always covered in the red badge of courage. Who knew it had mercury in it? I am trying to minimize the scar on my right knee with a scar gel, but honestly, no one really sees my knees since I dazzle them with my amazingness first, lol!
