Miracle of the vgs & annual physical!

I just have to tell myself, WOW! VGS was the best decision I've made, other than my BFF/husband and my 4 kids.

I had my annual physical with my GP of 17 years.

FIRST time I had such a great check up. (Still have parathyroid too high, but they are doing a wait-see thing.)

ALL my other labs were normal. My BMI was 23. My BP was golden, as was cholesterol, A1C, all bariatric markers.

I am SO tickled!

In less than 2 years, down to 4 daily meds from 17 -- no more HBP, cholesterol, diabetes, angina, or anything!

Now if I could just quite cutting my hair in the bathroom --

That is absolutely fantastic news Annie, you've done such a great job! Woohoo, look at all the medications you were able to come off. Amazing isn't it? Miracles do happen and the sleeve has been one for me too. I'm grateful to be able to have the tool I needed to get myself back into 'the land of the living and happy' again.

You look fantastic, keep up the great work.

As my daughter says, awwww. I feel the same, Christie. Each of you here contributes your own "voice" and make all this so much more do-able. I still have my days where I feel enormous - which is odd, since I didn't feel enormous when I weighed 100+ more pounds than I do today.

Now if the war against gravity (age) could just be slowed down a bit, lol!
