Wanted to say Hello.
I've been doing lots of reading and learning from all of you and for that I'd like to say a warm Thank You.
I was sleeved on June 24, 2019 by Dr. Asahel Gridley in Slidell, LA. So far, I've not had any complications
and certainly hope I don't. I enjoy the knowledge that is in here and hope I might can help someone else,
as you all have already helped me.
Thanks again.
Brad

Re: Wanted to say Hello.
Congratulations on joining the looser bench. You are in for an amazing ride. One thing that helped me was setting a small goal and once achieved I set a new one. I also recommend exercising everyday and find a way to enjoy exercise. I started hiking around week 6 prior to that I exercised in the gym. Once I started hiking I mainly went to the gym for weights. Hiking lead to amazing journeys and lead to climb school and I became a mountain and rock climber. Never thought that would be me after being diagnosed with MS and putting on weight. With determination and consistent hard work you will be amazed what you can achieve. Good Luck! Happy to answer any questions. :)

Re: Wanted to say Hello.
Welcome and I agree, this forum has been one of the best parts of my sleeve journey. I love the honesty and realness of all the members and appreciate input from everyone here, especially those that are years out. They have a wealth of information posted here in these pages.
Glad you are doing well in your journey. I always like hearing what was a person's biggest challenge and how they handle it going forward. Care to share?
