Re: Bariatric Fusion Protein
I have never tried the brand you are talking about, but I too was trying to find the perfect protien seupplement before I had surgery. I am now 3 days post-op and some of the stuff doesn't taste the same or just isn't doing the job. I would suggest, when you find something you like (2 or 3 would be good), do buy an abundance of it cause your taste buds may not like them after surgery.

I like Jay Robb vanilla and chocholate protein powder. I think it taste pretty good. My friend swears by Gold Standard Vanilla Ice Cream flavored but I havent tried that yet. Good luck! I have my surgery on Tuesday.
Re: Bariatric Fusion Protein
Hello Nikki,
I'm one month post op and have never tried the brand you have mentioned, but I have tried numerous protein solutions (shakes, shots, etc.). I have spent hundreds of dollars of which have all be wasted! Your taste buds change drastically post surgery, so you may want to find sites with samples that you can purchase versus buying according to your current taste buds. From the consensus on youtube, taste buds don't return to normal for like a year out :( .
I do what I can to meet my requirement, but now I make my meals "protein first" meals. Lots of fish, deli meat, chicken, cheese, greek yogurt, etc. It seems to be working for me...as I'm never at a loss for energy.
It may be rough in the beginning when on all liquids...but trust me, finding protein solutions "the old fashion way" gets better :) .
Good luck to ya...
