Breast augmentation
I was scheduled for August 27th to go in for my breast augmentation appointment to pick out my new boobies. I just rescheduled for Monday, August 6th (4 months to the day since my breast lift.)
My husband broke his leg on June 11th, so he's been home from work since then. He'll be home until at least September 11, so I figured I should go ahead and pick out the implants and have the surgery while he's at home.
I'm quite excited though also nervous about having a foreign object in my body. The thought of it really freaks me out. I'm afraid I will hate the feel of it, but I'm going to do it anyway. Are there any of you that have implants? What do they feel like? Are you hyper-aware of them? For instance, I have one crown in my mouth, and I am aware of it every minute of the day. I hate it so much. I'm scared of feeling that way with the implants. Anyone that can give me any insight as to what to expect, I'd love to hear.

Re: Breast augmentation
I would think you won’t be hyper aware of the implants because they will be inside your breast unlike the crown that sits over your tooth. I hope I’m right and you can enjoy having nice boobs again. Just think how great you’ll look in those cute or sexy outfits. I wish you all the best. Good Luck with surgery and hope your husbands leg heals good. I can’t wait to get mine and get my tummy touched up. :)

Re: Breast augmentation
Thanks, Tamera. I hope you're right, too. How exciting that you're going to have breasts and tummy! I considered foregoing the augmentation part and putting that money towards my tummy instead. My tummy isn't so bad though, and I figure I need a bit of cleavage. Not to mention, my husband would kill me if I got rid of my belly instead of getting boobs. ;-)

Re: Breast augmentation
My bra size is for sure smaller after the weight loss but there is so much worth in other areas that it wouldn't be a priority ;) and Wonderbra will do the trick!!
Bat wings and most tumors are gone but still healing, I'm too much uncomfortable right now to even picture myself doing an other surgery, even if I'm supposed to do it before next Summer since we'll probably move to an other country after that. My belly is not that bad with the right clothing and I will never wear a bikini again so....we'll see how it goes!! and I still have some more of those tumors to get removed...problem is a few are actually in the tummy area...
I think the most important is that you do what you want, what's important for you. We all have a specific image of our body, that not many around us share....if I was listening to my husband who can't stand to see me walking into a hospital, I would have nothing done at all...even what is really needed!
Good luck, take care and keep us posted!

Re: Breast augmentation
Yeah. I will be getting some boobs next year. I have always had boobs. Even when I was thin I had a nice pair. Now they are just sad. So, that will be my gift to myself next year.
