I'm post op sleeve 3 yrs. I was wondering if essential oil or vitamins with anti inflammatory properties are ok to use/take? I know anti inflammatory meds are a big no no.

To help mu joints's issues, I take Omega 3 and turmeric. Those are natural remedies that do decrease inflammation. But even if it's natural, it can bother my stomach. Right now I'm back on PPI, but before I used to take a Tums a few hours after taking my supplements, natural remedies can actually bother my sleeve like NSAID do, and it did bother my sleeve!
I would ask your doctor, as I don't know. We all know we can't take NSAIDS.
What are NSAIDS please?
I am not familiar with that term.
NSAIDS are in meds like Ibuprofen. (A medical person would be able to tell you more). I was told I could only take Tylenol for pain.
Thanks. I have never been told not to take any specific pain or anti flammatory meds. I haven't needed any thankfully!
thank you for sharing
I took them
