Journal or menus?? anyone? please
A menu or journal.
I've been looking online forever! I cant find anything that I could copy paste and print.
I am due to have surgery in 2 months. I would like to start mentally preparing myself for what my new diet will be like. It would be so convenient if I could print out someones menu so I could just take that to the store and use it as a guide and checklist
I am new to this site, I am not sure how to even get back to this page :) if anyone has any ideas please facebook me, or email me

well, i cant give you a menu but i can give you a great piece of info from a doctors office that has a list of all the foods you should be eating as well as medications and all the info about the surgery. http://www.peachtreebariatrics.com/d...ent-Manual.pdf

You can log your food at places like livestrong.com, and fitday.com is a menu/journal type place. But here is a sample long-term day (i.e. at least 6 months after surgery) I found on another site.. is this what you are looking for? It spreads out the protein, whole grains, vegetables, fruits and healthy fats...
Breakfast: Protein Shake: 1 cup water + 1 scoop protein powder + 1 cup frozen berries + 1 Tbsp. ground flaxseeds. Blend all ingredients until smooth.
Snack: 1 part skim mozzarella string cheese + 1 small apple
Lunch: 1/2 sandwich: 1 slice whole wheat bread (toasted if necessary) + 2 ounces turkey breast + 1/8 avocado + slices of tomato as desired.
Snack: Other 1/2 of your turkey sandwich
Dinner: 1/2 baked sweet potato topped with 1/2 cup lowfat cottage cheese. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Eat with small garden salad: 1/2-1 cup salad greens + 2 teaspoons olive oil for dressing.
Snack: 1/2 cup cooked oatmeal. Sprinkle with apple pie spice or pumpkin pie spice.
