Re: Throwing up after eating.
That does not sound good.
That doctor, you went to see, was that your surgeon?
Maybe a second opinion is a good idea.
Re: Throwing up after eating.
We were sleeved within about a week of each other. Please see your doctor, something is wrong.
Re: Throwing up after eating.

Re: Throwing up after eating.
Hi Mimi,
As our friends said, you should see a doc asap!! Did you have a blood test for that last visit? Everything was normal? Liver enzymes ok too? No deficiencies?
But in the mean time you could start journaling exactly what is making you sick (a detail description of your food intake, quantity, time to eat etc). It's not a matter of the time of the meal, I'm guessing you might have developed some kind of food intolerance and you don't eat those for breakfast.
What meds are you taking??
I had to go back on PPI since December and I'm dealing with some bad side effects...got worth when the dosage had to be increased..
If your doc can't help you could see a new surgeon but also see a nutritionist specialized in bariatrics...
Good luck and take care!
Re: Throwing up after eating.
I have had blood work done. Everything was normal. I have not lost excessive weight. I am the poster child for good health. That is why he was not alarmed. I totally trust him. I don't know why I haven't researched this on the internet. I was hoping my reaching out would link me to someone with the same problem. I am not losing my food. It looks like I mat have some form of stomach stenosis. After reading about it, it all makes sense. I plan to call his office tomorrow and get an appointment and will most likely have to have an endoscopy procedure. It seems they can put a balloon in there and stretch things out again. Thanks for your support. I will post an update.

Sending good vibes!
Please keep us informed, if you can.
Re: Throwing up after eating.
I agree with the advice to see your doctor.
However, I have always had an incredibly touch stomach. I get the "toad froth" if I eat too quickly, or if I am a bit wound up when we go out. (I wind up easily, lol.) SO even if you see the doctor, it may not be anything.
Are you avoiding liquids prior to meals? Do you have allergies? Mine are gosh awful this year.
Re: Throwing up after eating.
I'm 2 year out and also throw up about 50% of meals.. Particularity when I eat out. I have found that certain foods make me throw up and others don't. You need to keep a food journal of everything you eat and make a note of when you throw up. Try to only eat 1 item when you eat out so you can isolate what it is that is causing you problems.. I also have the Phlegm that I can feel building up in me until throw up.. I also get foamys when eating certain things or drinking things like Slurpees. I can't eat most vegetables anymore and can't eat anything cooked on a grill. Chicken is about the only meat I can eat. I do handle most Junk foods well. So, I eat a lot of chips, cheetoos, cookies and ice cream. (I know it's not healthy) I also have started juicing a lot and can drink most veggies that I can't eat..
I went back to my surgeon about 2 months after my initial surgery, and he did the dye test again said everything looked perfect. I went to a Gastroenterologist and he thought it might be a Schatzki Ring. So, he did an endoscope and said everything looked great.. No problems but some irrigation on my esophagus. (Probably due to the vomiting)
It's was really bad during the first year but has gotten a bit better over the last year. I can't eat certain things anymore at alll.
Anyway, Private message me if you want compare notes.
Re: Throwing up after eating.
When I don't eat for 2 or 3 days and start eating, I also feel very sick and it is very difficult for me to swallow food.

This is not the first time I'm hearing of this, so it shouldn't scare you. It's pretty much normalunless you have a disorder or condition you didn't know about. But a few medications can help with this discomfort.
Re: Throwing up after eating.
Throwing up after eating may be a symptom of various underlying health conditions or behaviors. It's important to note that regularly inducing vomiting after meals can indicate a serious medical condition or an eating disorder such as bulimia nervosa.
