Hi MBY
My surgery was nearly 3 years ago now so I can't help on the similar date front.
We are however about the same age so if you have any queries please ask away.
There is always someone here who can offer support or advice.
Thanks for answering back. It’s my first time using a forum like this and I’m learning to navigate. I’ve watched a lot of Utube videos but I’d still like some advice on vitamins. Which ones/gummies,drops, patches etc. I feel grateful that there are so many choices and I realize everyone is different.
I think (pray) I’m either out of menopause or about to be. Someone shared that after losing weight they were always cold. I can’t imagine Something to look forward to.

Yes, I feel the cold a lot more now than when I had a thick layer of fat covering my body ;-) It is easy enough to put on some extra layers and I love merino thermals. It is still a small price to pay for being so much healthier.
I didn't start multivits until about 3 weeks out from memory and I learnt very quickly not to take them on an empty stomach. They made me feel very nauseous. I had some chewable ones in the beginning which were really awful and as soon as I could I went to a capsule. I'm not sure where you are located but if in the USA someone will be able to suggest some brands for you I'm sure. Maybe get small quantities in the beginning rather than bulk buy until you know which ones you like best. You will be taking them for the rest of your life so you need to make sure that the agree with you.
PS the liquid pre op diet was the worst part of the whole process and even then it wasn't all that bad as I knew it had an end date. It's totally worth doing it right so that your surgeon has better access to your stomach. It also gets you used to a liquid diet post surgery.
regarding vitamins, the same as KiwiGal....except my solution (even at 3 years out) are the chewable gummy vitamins. My stomach was very finicky way before sleeve, so too many pills in a day and I'm just over! :)
