Re: 5 months out - plateau
If you are following all the sleeve rules (and it sounds like you're doing great!), just keep doing what you're doing. Stalls and fluctuations are totally normal. Looking over my journal in the time it took to lose my weight I gained 2 weeks and stayed the same another 2. All the rest were losses, big and tiny!
Re: 5 months out - plateau
Just wait it out. Keep doing what you are doing. Weight fluctuates so much from day to day. This is normal, we've all been through it.
Re: 5 months out - plateau
This is completely normal. With my diet I seemed to stall out with a lack of carbs, every one is different so talk to your nutritionist. To clarify the the carbs, I am getting most of my carbs from NON starchy vegetables and some fruits in moderation.
Re: 5 months out - plateau
Ditto the above. I have had a few times when I lost and gained and relost the same 3-5 lbs without anything changing. The key is, "without anything changing" in my diet or activity. It's just a body trying to find balance (equilibrium) IMHO. :)
Re: 5 months out - plateau
Totally not uncommon to hit plateaus. As long as you are eating right and following the rules, I would not be worried. Sometimes your body is still changing. For me, when I started to stall...it was a sign I needed to add some more healthy calories to my day. It always got me moving again. When you get down to the final pounds you tend to only lose a pound or two every week or two. The big numbers do not last forever.
