So who had their gallbladder out after sleeve surgery? I have had a few very painful attacks, and they did an ultrasound and found stones. Said if the attacks keep happening it will have to come out. Good news is it's been 6 weeks with no issues.

Had mine taken out when I was sleeved. Had a small stone already so they just took care of it in one session.
Hi Sharon
Gall stones are no fun at all. My mother had them and had her gall bladder removed.
Do you think it is as a result of WL surgery or just bad luck?
L.
I had my gallbladder removed in 1999. I suffered through my whole pregnancy with my youngest with them telling me it was heartburn. I had never had heartburn, so I didn't know. I thought how the hell do people live with heartburn. Yeah, they dontbecause that wasn't what it was. I finally had emergency surgery when my daughter was 9 months old, so I dealt with daily attacks for 18 months. To this day, it was the most pain I've ever endured. I would have kissed the feet of the surgeon who removed it, as I had instant relief. Sharon, get it out! No sense in suffering.
Sharon, I had mine out about 6 months prior to surgery -- it was no longer my friend.
Thanks all. If the pain comes back I'll get it out. It's odd that it happened one night and then the next day. Worst pain ever, I agree Katrina!! I couldn't even stand up. But then nothing for the past 6 weeks. But I can't be that lucky...
Mine was removed several years before sleeve. Most painless procedure for me and so much relief.
