Added "Thanks" button so you can easily thank people for their post

We recently installed a system to our site that allows you to thank people for their post. Under each post is a button that looks like this:

When you click it, your name goes on a little list that will appear under the post of those who said "Thanks".

So if you ever wanted to give kudos for a post but didn't want to type out a complete reply (or if you didn't really have the time to write a reply, etc.), this is a quick and easy way to quickly show some appreciation to the poster.

Also, under everyone's username, you will see the stats that show how many times that person has said thanks to others as well as how many times the other members of the community have thanked them.

I think this will be very useful around here and I hope you guys use it well and enjoy it.

Please let me know if you experience any bugs with it, if it does not seem to work right, or otherwise.

I guess it works great if nobody is complaining! :) Hope everyone likes this system and uses it well.
I hope it encourages people to write thoughtful posts, and I also hope it encourages members to give thanks where its deserved.

Thank you for such a warm welcome. I am still unsure if to opt for the lap or the sleeve I have heard so much for both and the downs and highs also.
Really could do with some advice from people. What was your choice and what made you come to this choice?

You cant thank or welcome yourself! Everyone else sees them, no worries.

hi everyone and thanks for welcoming me today is my 10 day having the surgery so far im down 14 pounds every thing is good besides feeling like im starving to death cant eat soft solids yet because of i have still have some inflammation in stomach im tired of eating the same puree there is not much you can do with that not many choices so are there any suggestion

I have not had my surgery yet but stay encourage and as the song goes sometimes you have to encourage yourself. You have come this far you can make it follow your doc instructions and don't focus on being hungry!

So, Sandy, I need encouragement and info...which might be best for me...DS or GS? I weight 355 lbs. and am 5'9"; was once in the Miss Am. Prelims (2nd runner-up), a looong time ago...ha ha :) Would like to look half of what I looked like then...maybe with half my weight off! lol...any recommendations? And regrets? etc.
