Some fitness trainers recommend working out first thing in the morning because that's when you're least expected to have scheduling conflicts & therefore more likely to exercise regularly and dedicatedly. Also, early exercisers often say that a morning routine leaves them feeling more energized and active during the day. Proved in various surveys also. Human exercise performance is better in the evening when compared to the morning, as it consume less oxygen, that is, they use less energy, for the same intensity of exercise in the evening vs the morning.
Not exercises but anything, in general, is better to be done in the morning (except sleeping probably). although there might be some times when you're not energized in the morning. This can happen if you didn't sleep early or if you didn't get enough sleep
