18 Hours In!! Or 18 Hours Sleeved!!

Well folks,
My wife Laura is 12 Days sleeved and I am 18 Hours sleeved. Other the a 1/4 blue mustache all seams well. However, right after I awoke from recovery I was a bit confused and in pain, I thought I did something wrong.. Everyone was hovering over me it added to my confusion, at the 2, 6 and 12 hour mark our doctor returned and we discussed my post op. The bad pain had been gone after the first hours, my brain cleared. Now at 18 hours i feel very positive........ BEST Christmas presents we ever gave each other.. Not the most expensive, but a future out of, big and tall or plus sizes for us. I know you really do not know us but we read every post on this site and we are sleevers.. your words helped us through..... Merry Christmas to all and to all a Great night!!

Congrats!! I felt the same directly after surgery. Pain and dry heaving. But it didn't last long and it was mostly smooth sailing since then. It's so sweet that you guys get to go through this together. It's an amazing opportunity and you guys can truly appreciate what each other is going through. Happy holidays to you both and so glad to have you as part of our group!!!

I'm about 30 hours sleeved--I feel weird but apparently that is normal. Feel better soon! And yes, this forum is a huge help.

Oh dear. I'm entirely calm about my surgery but the ill effects of anesthesia, like this, is what has me all worked up.

Luckily my bad side affects lasted only about an hour or so. So it really wasn't too bad and I'd do it all over again.

Congratulations! To you and your wife. That is my fear: the nausea and vomiting from the anesthesia. I DO NOT DO WELL when coming out of anesthesia. The thought of vomiting after the surgery has me already anxious. I have yet to undergo a surgery where I wake upjust a little queasy... it's always full on heaving and wrethcing. :/

Folks, JPMLVM Here, Well 10 Day in, 18 pounds less by the reading from the scale. I know you are all saying; Hey quit looking at that scale, just like my wife. She will only step on the scale at 7 day intervals.... (she is 20 days in and tomorrow is weigh in for her) Sorry, I needed some instant gratification..... and you know what??? It worked I am a HAPPY CAMPER, and I don't even camp... Happy New Year to ALL.................
