Just sharing...I found it helpful
I'm glad you found it!
I tried their weight calculator. I think that is kind of limiting. According to the calculator, I am only 5 pounds from my expected weight and not even 5 months out. The info seems to be pretty helpful though. Thanks for sharing.
We're not equal in front of weight loss: I checked that web site six months ago thinking....I should be there in six months ( 114)....I will be one year out next week and not there yet...JUST reached 96....I'm hoping to lose more, so may be I will be there at 24 months ;-D
I hope you did not take that wrong. I was thinking it should expect more out of me. I do. At five months out, I expect I will be losing weight for at least another year. I am sure based upon typical expectations that I am in range but maybe they should take into account body types and surgery dates to better predict expectations. Maybe that number is correct and I should not expect to lose much more but I certainly hope not. I have such higher expectations in my goals.
I hope that the calculator is wrong. According to that (I used my weight after the pre op diet) I will only lose 47 lbs at the 2 year mark. I have already lost 31 and am only 10 weeks out tomorrow so I get what you are saying Greg. It seems like the numbers are kind of low but maybe it is so people don't have unrealistic expectations?? I have been on that site before when I was researching my surgery options. It does have a lot of good information.
Not at all! don't worry! I was just giving my perspective on how things change with time. I really thought I would reach one year and be a little further along. But now when I read fellow sleevers who continue to lose even at 3 years out...I feel much better!
Plus I guess the unpredictable will come with it's magic wand again (pollution, asthma medication..etc..)...so...we'll see what the cat brings!
