Hello everyone! This is my first post.I had my sleeve surgery in 2017, am 73 and live in Mexico. I'm gaining weight during the Covid lock downs. Since I'm home all the time, I graze -- try now to but I also suffer from depression and that gets in the way. Any suggestions and/or similar stories that might help?
It's a struggle! I'm struggling too, but I'm trying to do at least one thing that keeps me on track. That one thing might be tracking my meals, doing a workout, drinking more water, doing something around the house--anything that will keep food out of my mouth. Go back to basics! Good Luck!
Yep as Kenson has said it's a struggle alright.
Working from home with the pantry and fridge in easy access is hard. Try and keep them stocked with "good" food choices and no "treats".
I still keep a record of what I eat and try to keep to regular eating times so that I don't get hungry and I weigh every morning to try and keep myself on track.
If you are able to get out and about for a walk that can be useful or maybe take up forgotten hobby or find a new one?
I love reading and have been devouring books - which is better than food ;-)
I still succumb to the odd cookie with my cup of tea though.
As we all know drinking lots of water helps too.
If I need to get back on track I go back to protein shakes for breakfast and protein bars for lunch the a "normal" dinner of protein and good green veges for a few days which seems to help.

Wow sounds bad for me
Honey, you are not alone. I’ve gained too! I bought a stationary bike and have been getting on it for 45 minutes at a time. I’m going to walk and build to running once I can get outside. Hang in there!
