New Year Thank You & Wishes

So much gratitude to each of you for sharing this past two years "on the road" to health & weight loss/maintenance. Y'all are truly my "village"!

May this new year hold much joy with family and friends, many grand adventures, and continued health and self-care for each of us!

We celebrate with long time friends each NYE - my husband has known this couple over 60 years, and they are wonderful to start each year off well. That said, NO SCALES down where we are.

Although they are amazing chefs, and the restaurants here are fabulous, I've done well (I think) in terms of portions; not so much in terms of choices. No alcohol for me, so that spares calories, but oh my there are all kinds of cheeses and crackers (I did bring some 34 Degree thin ones), and 7 kinds of homemade cookies.

I may have to see if she has scales tomorrow! Better knowing than not.

My son shared "What are your plans for the new year? A: What? I don't have 20/20 vision, lol" Me neither!

We do hope, since my health is better, that we'll be back to being familiar faces at our Planet Fitness. My heart issues this past year rather sidelined me, but thanks to the weight loss not nearly as bad as it might have been.

PLEASE continue to post. You are each so special in your own way, on your individual journey!
