Let it Snow!
Attachment 28514
Had a great three days of climbing in Rocky Mountain National Park. The snow and occasional ice made some downhills tough. (The group said they would make me an "I've Fallen and I Can Get Up" shirt. Those of you who know me know snow and mountains are my favorite thing in life. Photo is from Timber Lake.
I went with my idea that with spending three days climbing I'd come home weighing less. Seriously, one day we did 12 miles! Nope. I guess I have to add eating mindfully to that equation. I ate everything. But 131 with a goal of 130 isn't bad.
Looking forward to ski season.

Re: Let it Snow!
You do the coolest things! I'm very envious.
I think you are allowed to eat (almost) everything when you are doing so much exercise. 1 pound is nothing.

I can 'hear' the happiness in your post, that's awesome. You continue to thrive and kick butt, yay for you! Enjoy the snow :)

Re: Let it Snow!
Living life with great passion is so encourage, sraebaer! Thanks for sharing the snow happiness. In theory I love snow. But in the Southeast, the snow we get is wet, heavy, icy and nasty. And no one knows how to drive and they apparently eat milk and bread when it snows.
I'm from the Pacific NW, raised up near the BC border. I loved outdoor adventures. But I have become a Southerner over these 30 year...unless we go to Jim's mum's upstate NY, we don't see real snow. Sigh Keep posting! I love your adventures with Bill.
