Welcome here!
"pickle needs"... that makes me giggle.
You're going to have to explain Mis Pic and pickle needs!
Ha Mis Pik is nickname from when I was a child . I eat pickles to help me with leg cramps and now i am addidcted to them hoping I can still get my pickle fix
Welcome.
Can't help with the pickle issue, but hopefully someone will come along soon and advise.
If you are wondering if you can still eat them after surgery - well I can :-)
Does eating pickles really help with leg cramps?
I didn't know that.
Maybe I should give it a try.
It's possibly the sodium in the pickle juice that helps with the cramp.
I would think pickles will fit in perfectly with your new lifestyle, unless the sodium bothers you. I do eat dill pickles as a snack, a 0 calorie veggie.
Welcome!
Pickles are a go, although it was awhile before I could eat more than a bite at a time.
I eat a pickle a day...suggested by my Dr...and warm plain gelatin flavored with Nectar.
You will definitely be able to eat pickles, EVENTUALLY. Since you are newly sleeved, I would wait until you've gone through all your phases of food; liquids, purees, soft foods, regular food.
I do agree with Lisa for the sodium, but also leg cramps can show up when you are magnesium deficient. You should get a blood test just for peace of mind, or make sure your multi vitamin does have magnesium in it.
