I was wondering how long does it take for all the swelling to go down in your tummy from the surgery?
Most of mine went down after 4 -6 weeks but I'm 3 months out now and am just now noticing that the left and right sides look equal.
I'm still swollen and it's been 4 weeks. Most of it goes down first 2 weeks.
It improves a lot in 4 weeks but give it about 3 months for most of it to subside.
Yeah about 3 months it takes 6 week to get past the stage of suture leakage so it is all healed by 3months

I was one of the lucky ones...not too much gas and swelling went down in about 3-4 weeks.
took me a couple of weeks.
