I finally got 'sleeved' June 2020, and I lost 10 pounds in first week. I guess it is almost all loss of water. After that it goes surprisingly slowly, about 1 pound a week. I thought it would go faster. Is that normal, what is your experience?

Nothing to worry about. Your body has just had a shock to the system so it is "adjusting." Your weight loss will pick up. Congratulations on your surgery!
Thanks Kenson! How long did it take you to lose 90 lbs?
Everyone's different. Took me about 9 months to lose all my weight. I bet it will speed up soon!
Thanks for always answering Straebaer! 9 months is AWESOME! We are very similar in start and goal weight. Something to look forward to!
Everyone loses at differing times. In the beginning it will drop off, slow down, speed up, plateau, you name it, it will probably happen.
You will soon fall into a steady loss. Keep doing what you are doing, keep to the rules, and enjoy the ever decreasing you :-)
You helped me so much KiwiGal! Nobody at my Clinic told me that. Thank you for being so nice, you practically explained all my troubles!
I had my surgery November 4, 2014 and hit goal of 130 in May (6 months). I lost all the way down to 102, but gained back to an average weight of 117 in 2017 and have hung out around that since.
Awesome Katrina! That's what I would like for me to happen!
It took about 6 months for me to hit goal, then dropped too low, and now stable for about 3 years.
It's a learning process; trust the tool; protein, vegetables, water water water :)
I am so happy for you AnnieG! I just hope I will be the same!
