Discomfort, bloating and pain

Hello everyone,

I am new in this forum but have a question. I had my sleeve done on May 10th. I still have discomfort when I eat and feel easily bloated in my stomach (probably from the acid), have light cramps and experience some pain (not much though). I went to see my surgeon and he did an upper GI. I went to see my GI doc and he did an endoscopy. Everything is normal, except that it looks like the acid backs up. I take pantoprazole twice daily.

My questions: Does anyone else experience something like that? Is it maybe normal to feel like that after this surgery? Will it go away with time and I just have to be patient?

Hi, I had my sleeve done May 21 of this year and feel the same way. I keep going back to more of a liquid diet most of the day. Then try to eat solid food at lunch time. But most of the solid food does give me issues (pain, bloating). Then I'm afraid that I will starch my stomach and gain weight and don't want to do that either. UGH

I am sorry, you have to deal with that too. Have you talked to your doctor about it? If yes, what does he say?
