Re: All was great until
Finally back at home after 9 days in the hospital. After my second CT scan they discovered I have 2 blood clots close to my spleen that are/were causing nausea and vomiting. The last week has been a nightmare but thankfully things seems to be getting a little better. I now understand what It must be like in hell because I was not able to drink anything for 2 days with the most incredible thirst(because of the nausea meds) although icy water was within my reach. From what I understand these types of clots are rare and I pray that they go away soon. I haven’t had anything other than clears in 10 days so I’m looking forward to tasting real food again. God Bless, Neal

OMG, Neal!
I am so glad you insisted on them examining you!
What a terrible situation was that.
I am so sorry it caused you so much pain and discomfort.
How are you feeling now that you are home?
Is drinking going better now?
I pray you will have a very speedy recovery!

Re: All was great until
So sorry you've had such problems, but thank goodness that you were smart enough to pay attention that something wasn't right. Yes, it sounds like the blood clots are a rare thing, but each surgery and recovery is different for everyone. Sometimes things do wrong. Glad you've found the cause of your pain and are now on the road to recovery!
Prayers and good wishes coming your way, keep us posted Neal!

Re: All was great until
Praying for you Neal. Hope all is resolved speedily. I am 20 days out and have been blessed with no issues, no vomiting. I am following my surgeons recommendations closely and he is very conservative. So tomorrow I get to add fish to my diet! So excited! Tired of mushies... Let us know what they find out!
