Re: My first scale victory!
You really sound so happy!
I am glad everything goes so well.
And this is just the beginning, can you imagine that?

Hey Dutche :)
Gosh no I cannot imagine how I'll be behaving a month from now. I think I'm going to be quite the handful haha. My husband said it was so good to see the "old me", he said he felt like we were a family again. Before I would be hiding in the house, not wanting to go out or do anything.
It really is an awesome, incredible feeling to think I'm been given this wonderful tool to help me change my life. I'm so grateful.
Thanks for your kind words and encouragement. Hope all is well with you also.
Re: My first scale victory!
So happy for you! I was on a 6 week post-op diet, basically liquids the first 2 weeks, mushy food week 3, and regular foods introduced weeks 4,5, and 6. Then all foods.
I was cleared for all exercise at 2 weeks, wonder why they are all so different. Keep up the walking, that's great!
Re: My first scale victory!
Yay! I know once I got to 199, I was so happy!! Congratulations! :)
Re: My first scale victory!
Woohoo! So pleased for you.
It only gets better and better too :-)
Re: My first scale victory!
Congratulations! Feels good to be so successful doesn’t it? Your husband sounds like mine, pretty soon I’ll be running circles around him.
Re: My first scale victory!
First rule of gastric sleeve is that there is no set rules. Every surgeon has a preference for just about every aspect of the journey. LOL. But look at you....Onederland!!! Way to go!! Toot toot!!!
Re: My first scale victory!
My post op was almost 8 weeks, but that was good because I really would have felt badly if I couldn't hit "bigger" expectations. So for me it was good.
And it gets so much different once you're a way out. I think for me it reinforced the good choices and quantities.
I'm 18 months out and maintaining between 129-133. At 5'4" and 67 I'm quite pleased :)
