Trying to decide between Dr Ariel Ortiz at OCC (Obesity Control Center) or Dr Sergio Quinones at Pompeii Surgical. Anyone have any feedback from experience with either of these doctors?

I don't know which one is a better choice, but I have wanted to do this surgery for many, many years. I remember Dr Ortiz and he certainly is easy on the eyes. Lol
I've pretty sure he has been doing it for years now and he supposedly works out of an state of the art hospital in Tijuana. If I were to go to Mexico, I might choose him. Best wishes!
I don't know much about Pompeii bu what I like about OCC is the fact that they are The Joint Commission Int'l accredited as well as a Bariatric Center of Excellence. This mean that they have a minimum of health and safety measurements that they must be compliant with in order to obtain and maintain the accreditation.
I agree with konagirl! I have done TONS of research on approximately 8 surgeons in Mexico, and I would choose Dr Ariel Ortiz/OCC above all others. That said, I have also read that he is more expensive than most surgeons. If anyone knows the cost of his VSG and can share that with us, that’d be great. :)
