  4. I am not usually on here every day myself. I think after a year, you pretty much have this down. It seems to get easier the farther away from your surgery date. Good luck, I know you will do wonderfully. Merry Christmas to you, too.

Thank you for getting back to me!

It's not often i see someone on here that is a year out from surgery so it's good to read how you're doing.

    Merry Christmas!!!

  6. Hi MastersD, Things are going good. I now eat practically anything I want. My tasts have changed a bit. All in all, it was the right decision for me. I still drink my protein shake every weekday morning to help make sure I get enough protein. I have found a way to make them better for me. I use Torani sugar free syrups in them. They have lots of flavors and there is only 1 carb in 2 tablespoon. I was getting pretty tired of the same ol' thing everyday. I exercise 3 or 4 times a week (water aerobics 2 times a week, and I ride a stationary bike/walk steps 1 or 2 times a week. I work in a 4 story building so this one is very convenient for me. I am having a little problem with sagging skin, but not enough to consider surgery yet ( I hear the recovery is very painful--much more than the sleeve surgery.) I may get a personal trainer in January to help me in that area. I still hit plateaus about every 20 pounds. They are ALWAYS frustrating. I really can't think of anything else. I just tried to follow the plan-eat what I should and exercised. I am worried about maintaining. I am afraid that when I start eating more I will have a hard time not eating everything I see--like before!! Good luck on your journey. You will get lots of support from this web site and I have found that most discussions have people arguing both sides of the issue, so you get a full range of opinions and feelings. Which is good, it's not just one sided. Best of luck and happy holidays.

I just saw a post of yours on the boards and noticed you're nearly a year out from having your surgery and nearing your goal weight. Can i be nosey and ask how you've found the whole process? Do you have any advice?
I'm 4 and a half months out and things seem to be very samey, are there any surprises or do things basically stay the same now? Except losing the lbs, they change.lol
