I love my sleeve but I will say that I have made my way back to normal eating, like no more protein and I dont count calories. This would probably be why I haven't lost my LAST 40 lbs and I am so frustrated. I want that desire and drive to count my grams of protein and water etc... I also have no time to exercise right now because I am in school full time and working full time. I want time for me again which I have lost. I will graduate from cosmetology school in a mere 4 months and life will go

It has been 4 months since I last checked in on this forum and I miss it. I have been busy with a new job and I started cosmetology school recently. I must say that checking in to this forum everyday was my motivation. I have slowed down in my weight loss and hit a plateau for the past 3 months. I haven't been going to the gym like I was in the beginning so I am sure if I get back on the regimen and tighten up my diet I can make it to my year goal. I cant believe it will be a year in May! I am 5 months post op and just recently ( in the past week ) have been experiencing some horrific stomach pain and burning. It really doesn't happen after eating anything specific. It feels like a knife being twisted in my sternum with some radiating burning through out my chest. These episodes come on steadily and I know when its about to happen. Its lasts about 10 - 15 minutes and I am almost unable to move or breathe deeply. The only thing that remotely helps me when I am experiencing this is

So I am 5 months out and I have blogged before about my slow weight loss. I went to see my OBGYN for a check up and we were discussing my surgery and my little friend, PCOS. She explained that although I am losing weight and following my diet & exercise plan, that PCOS will never leave and I will struggle losing weight even though I have had the sleeve. DAMNIT. Why did I think that PCOS would go away with weight loss?????? I swear I thought I was told that in the seminar. So I may have to go

I just read another members post about a 6 month window to lose the majority of your weight after being sleeved. I was NOT told this from my surgeons office. I was told that the first few months it will come off the fastest but losing weight can take a year or more depending on your beginning weight. If this "window" is the gospel then I am in trouble because I have stalled several times in the past 3 months and I just had surgery 4 months ago. I am down 56 lbs from a week before surgery
