    So I have been on my 2 wk pre op diet, on my 9th day and it started out good but its getting harder. I drink 2 protein shakes 30gm of prot. (premier choc) a day then a small meal which consists of sm meat(steak or chkn) n cup of vegtable/salad. But It's getting old. I am not digesting very well, i have a Dr apt on Monday for my pre-op, I will ask Doc what to change...If anyone out there has had same issue plz let me know what you did to help.

    Hello everyone, I finally have a surgery date, July 13th in San Antonio, TX. Start my 2 wk liquid diet..YIKES!! nervouse about that...So can anyone tell me what all I can have during this 2 wk period?

Just wanted to update on my status. Had my surgery on Friday all went well a lil bit of discomfort but had plenty pain reliever traveled to San Antonio and in hospital 2 nights checked out Sunday about noon traveled back home (3 1/2 hrs drive to San Angelo) all is going good didn't have any vomiting,though did ask for some anti nausea med which helped prevent. Started walking first day and that really helped relieve with gas. On clear liquids right now with some broth I am able to drink more water

So is oriental broth good to have?...Like won ton or however its spelled lol...someone said it may be too salty...it is liquid right? Also what else is really good?
