I'm almost 3 weeks out and so far I feel totally normal. Been on full liquids and tried a few small bites of soft foods - tuna, eggs, finely ground lean beef, retried beans. And everything has gone down fine. Now I'm actually more nervous cause I haven't had problems with anything yet.....and I'm able to take bigger sips of liquid no problem. It all seems a little too good to be true so of course I feel like I'm doing something wrong. Getting protein in, only eating 1/4 to 1/2 cup food at time
I've moved from clear liquids to full liquids (blended soups) and wanted to try broc cheddar. Has anyone tried this with good or bad results? It's a very thin, Lowe sugar version so the numbers look ok but was worried about the cheese......
Thanks
I had my surgery done on Tuesday so I'm about 4 days out and feeling pretty good. Thought the gas pain and nausea on day 1 and 2 were literally going to make me crazy! Discovered something ....some may know but I did not. When u feel a gas pain coming on, stand up, raise ur arms above ur head and then stretch them back almost like u are holding a door frame and pushing ur body through. That seemed to really help loosen the pain for me....might for someone else too!
Ready to be
Anyone know if valtrex is ok before surgery? Can't reach my PCP til tomorrow and being in sun I have massive blisters about to come out on nose. Dying to take one dose. Surgery is in two weeks. Thanks!
