Well here i am! I was sleeved on wednesday and had a really hard time keeping fluids down or keep my eyes open. i ended up staying till friday evening then i couldnt take it anymore. they kept pushing me to walk and i could if i could keep my eyes open!! i think it was all the stuff they were pumping into my IV that made me feel like crap. when i got home i sipped a little then tried to go to bed. ok .. i started the pre op diet on wednesday..and i dont know if i can do it! I an so sick of the shakes already .. so instead of a shake , i ate a few bites of grilled chicken and a boiled egg. is that bad?? i and sooo hungry i cant stand myseslf! i still have till the 27th to get thru this! ug..remind me this is all worth it..:/

Well the time has come!! Tomorrow i go for my scope and start my pre op diet on wednesday.. surgery is june 27!! i cant wait!
I am so excited i hope this will make the awful diet a bit better. I know someone has asked this before.. but what should i bring to the hospital? also.. i will be taking my 2 1/2 year old outta school bc i wont be able to afford it. i will have from wednesday to monday to recover before im alone with him. any suggestions??

OK.. when i first started this, it was all the way back in december/january. My ins needed tons of testing and 6 nutrition visits. that would push my surgery into july. Well behold! I gota call from my drs office today and said the ins accepted and approved my surgery with just 3 or 4 visits! I didnt ask any questions..but i will call the ins to verify later. I just want to stay this happy forever! I see the dr next thursday to pick my new surgery date!! YIPPIE!! Its just that much sooner I will

My date isnt for another few months.. but i worry about not being able to "give up " food. Does anyone else have this fear? or dies it just gop away after your surgery? thanks for your help!
