I'm loving everything the sleeve has done for me so far!!! I'm a type 1 Diabetic abd my sugars are much better actually too low at times (we are working on that), the swelling in my whole body has decreased almost completely, sleep apnea is gone, and I just started spotting and haven't had my period since Dec 2010 because of my PCOS and now I'm startting to get it already sorry if that's TMI but I'm excited hoping now one day my husband and I can have a family! I have been blessed not to have hardly and nausea or too much pain.....you will not be disappointed on your new journey!

Hey girl, as of right now I feel good. I get full fast so its hard to get all the required liquids in but I'm getting better at it. As for the broths I eat I stick to the beef cubes, I tried chicken broth in the box but it tasted like crap. Today I actually when and bought some real chicken soup and just strained it so I could eat the broth and it was delicious. The protein I tried beforehand was isopure it tasted fine to me but after my surgery my new tummy hated it so I had to switch to pure protein in either chocolate or vanilla. You can find them at Trader Joes if you have a trader joes but I'm sure they have one in San Diego if you have time to go and shop there. Thank you! Pretty much all my surgeon's office requires is the 14 day pre op diet to shrink the liver. Not necessarily liquids, 800-900 calories, high protein low carb and low sugar. All we were allowed to drink was water, unsweet. tea and sugar free drinks. They provided the supplements from their office. But it was pretty ready to follow.

Hey there, how are you doing? I have found so many helpful tips on here and it's making my journey even better. It's been a full week for me and I'm feeling good but I have been really lightheaded today and I think it's because of my lack of protein and nutrients.
