Thanks to all. I survived and wouldn't turn back for any thing. My experience with Dr. Garcia in Mexico was wonderful. I thank him and his staff for all the care they showed my mother and I during our stay. There is one thing, I am having pain and swelling at one of my incisions on the left side. I don't know if I pulled something or what. Plan to go get it looked at. All in all my experience was great and if anyone is thinking about going to Mexico just do it!! You will love the end results.

Thanks regiefortheworld. I am ready for the change and a happier me!! They are not talking me out of it but they are talking. I love them dearly but sometimes even family dont understand your everyday trials. I will be having my surgery with Dr. Garcia 10/18 and I am looking forward to my new journey.

DO NOT LET YOUR FAMILY DICTATE YOUR FUTURE AND YOUR HAPPINESS.....I REPEAT...DO NOT LET YOUR FAMILY DICTATE YOUR FUTURE AND YOUR HAPPINESS.. this is about you not about them....let them say what they want and tune them out. if they can talk you out of it...then you never really wanted it...that's real talk. your family does not walk in your shoes, they don't know your pains and heartaches. don't let them talk you out of it...you may have to go postal on them so they can shut the hell up about your life decisions.

Thanks for the reply. I am really leaning toward Dr Garcia. I have been speaking with Rhonda and is is just wonderful. Quick responses and very informative. Yes, I read about the few infections too but, we could develop an infection in the US also. I was also thinking about planning for the first of Sept. Got to check on flights. I haven't went to Dr Garcia however I will be sleeved on the 1st. I have had a great experience with the coordinator Alma. She emails back with in an hour of me bugging her with my many questions. I will be in Mexico for 5 days 1 night pre op in the Marriott hotel 2 days in the hospital and the last 2 nights back at the hotel. I will be traveling alone so I pray I meet others that are going the same time as me. I was looking for bad things about Dr Garcia and only found that a few patients had an infection. I was thinking of Dr Almazo, however I left 2 messages, 1 email, and talked to someone that promised me after our very rushed conversation that she would email me a packet. Well I never received that nor a return phone call. Good luck and keep me posted on who you decide.
