I was trying to find out how you were doing (I do not Facebook), and I found you on here. You still look like the "Arkansas Belle" that I remember. I am so glad that you are happy. I wish you the greatest. It is so great to see your smiling face again.

I know it is a long time coming, but I wanted to thank you for the get well card that you sent to me when I got injured in Iraq in 2004. Thank you, that card meant more than you know. My wife read it to me while I was in Walter Reed. I am fully recovered now, been back to fight two more times, and still in the Army. Your kind words were an inspiration to me. Seeing you smile is also great inspiration. I think you can find my email on here. I would love to hear from you. Keep smiling beautiful.

Arkansas Belle where did you have your surgery? I'm trying to fin a surgeon in Jonesboro Arkansas.

Hey, I bet Disney was fun!!! I used to live just north of Orlando. It was really nice. I actually lost weight really fast up until about a few weeks ago. Now I seem to be fluctuating around 455lbs. Whichi is way better than the 560lbs. I was, at the time of surgery. It is VERY frustrating. But everyone that has had weight loss surgery, rather it was the sleeve, the full bypass or whatever all tell you that you WILL plateau through your journey. It's just part of it. We just have to not let it get to us. And Keep on Keeping on! We will get past it, and lose more weight, and then hit another plateau when we least expect it. But we will push past it as well!

Hey there! COngrats on the surgery! I had mine Oct. 11th and have already lost over 100lbs. I saw where it said you are from Paragould, we are almost Neighbors! Lol. Hi Tessa, First of all...Congratulations on your weight loss!!! I see you got into the 100's!!! What an amazing feeling to see a ONE in front of your weight. That is a milestone I am ready for! Also, have fun at DisneyWorld...it is the happiest place on earth so its perfect for you! From my experience, stay away from spicy food, anything with dairy or mayonnaise, and MEASURE everything. I tend to get stomach aches if I eat just one or two extra bites. STOP when you feel full. I am not sure what kind of foods you like, but yogurt, oatmeal, and thick soups topped my list when I began soft foods. Don't rush it...I wanted to jump ahead and eat solids and it only caused me stomach aches and gas...Be kind to your tummy!!! Good luck!!
