I am 13 days post op, and all I want to do is cry. I feel so unlike myself. I don't want to get out and do anythng. I'm irritable, itchy, and feel like crying at the drop of a hat. On the day of surgery I weighed 277. I lost 10 pounds the first week, which I expected with all the water weight and stuff, but now I've been sitting at 266.8 for days. Every morning, 266.8. I'm eating 3 meals a day and 2 protein shakes for snacks, so I think I'm getting in the calories I need. I just feel so

I'm only 1 day out of surgery. It was yesterday. The pain is weird. Just kind of achy. I'm so scared of doing something wrong. All I have done is sip water, crystal light and eat popsicles. I'm on loritab, which really helps. So, when did you turn the corner of the pain subsiding and getting on with other "food?" You all are the best. Honestly, I don't think I could have done this surgery without this website.

I have 10 days to go before surgery date. My doctor's program has a 7 day preop diet consisting of 5 days no carb and 2 days clear liquids. I see some of you on a 2 week program of liquid dieting. I want to drop as much as possible these last 10 days. Would any of you give me a good description of your preop diet??

I do not want to tell many about the upcoming surgery, especially my work people. I have told my boss that I'm going to have my gallbladder out at the end of May, only to find out that my gallbladder is just fine and doesn't have to be removed. So, now what do I say? I'm afraid to stick to the gallbladder story for fear it may have to be removed down the road. Then what would I say, that it grew back? Did anyone of you have success keeping this a total secret from work?

Man! I'm so frustrated!!! I have completed everything the surgeon required and yet, his office has not submitted it to the insurance company!!!!! I'm not even certain at this point if they cover the sleeve. I had wanted to have the surgery done end of April, first of May to work around all the school stuff with kids, but now it's looking like sometime this summer. I've been dealing with this since January. CRAP!!!!!!!!!
Sorry! Just needed to vent!!!
