Thanks everyone! I'm still having some problems with soreness and gas pain in my shoulder. I'm able to start pureed foods and I feel so confused all of a sudden. I thought I prepared and had some direction, but I feel lost!

I felt like that with the Optifast too, but then it just started falling off. Try to keep having the shakes/bars so you don't ever get hungry.
I was the most nervous about the pain and honestly, it wasn't as bad as I expected. I used the pain pump and the only time it even hurt was getting out of bed. I had surgery Friday and by Sunday I didn't really need the pain pump any more. They did give me Tylenol 3 just to make sure I could tolerate it before leaving. I went home with an anti nauaea patch behind my ear. I recommend that if you experience any nausea. Oh, and I haven't needed any pain meds since getting home.

Hi, good luck with your surgery. The staff over there at Christiana is really good. They made sure my pain and nausea were under control. And, Dr. Wynn came to see me every day. Even though Dr. Peters did my surgery.
