I'm new to sight, but found pics of you. You are doing great! Have haven't ran into anyone who as lost so much weight this way! It's very encouraging ! My goal is to get healthy but lose weight also. Need to lose approximately 130 give or take. I haven't been thin in 30+ years! Scary to think of it that way. I'm planning on surgery soon but scheduling & family matters have postponed me. hope to ge to Mexico soon!

Liz, did they tell you how much in total I will cost. I just found out they want 30% from me and I am supposed to start my first class next week. aghhhhhh freaking out. that is 7k, if no complications. bummer

Really all you need to take is the clothes and shoes or slippers you'll be wearing home, chapstick, maybe some reading material and your phone charger.they provide you with everything you need.

Yeah, I struggled a bit with that, and even with the first couple of months post surgery. A lot of the things I ate came right back up...the key thing to remember is to eat SLOWLY. Also right after surgery I had a lot of gas pain. When ever I would swallow something it felt like it was painfully filtering through my esophagus, this is normal, it gets better and walking a lot helps with that. Even now,almost 5 months out, if I eat too fast it'll come right back up. Vomiting is a strange sensation after surgery but it's much easier than before, you'll see what I mean when it happens. No more gas pains but every time I eat I get the burps. I wonder if that will ever go away...lol
