Hey Janice, I used Dr. G too. I've lost 153 since my surgery almost 2 years ago, The first year it melted off no matter what i did... year 2 , i had to work it hard! I really have to watch what I eat. I have to stay low on the carbs and stick with proteins (meats) and veges and fruits. Typically green veges and I do stay away from the loaded carb fruits like oranges and bananas. I stay away from bread and potatoes for the most part, but when I do eat them, i go for whole grain bread and sweet potatoes instead. I also exercised at least 3 times a week for most of that 2nd year. As for the new surgery - tummy... that was done by Dr. Marco Rodas Nava in TJ, MX at the LIMARP facility. He did a great job and the facility is like a spa - it was gorgeous. I paid $5700 for tt and arm lift... not too bad. go to LIMARP.com and call the number and speak to Liliana. She speaks perfect English and will get you all set up and answer all your questions. Let me know how it progresses. and when you get closer to the time, i can give you some pointers. For starters don't do more than the tummy tuck at the same time... it is too much on your body, and you need your arms. you can pair up other surgeries but the tummy... that is the big one!!! stay in touch!

Hiya! Everything went pretty well. I will say the drainage tube caused me some pain, but once they took it out everything felt MUCH BETTER lol. I have had some gas, but minimal. The hospital is small, but adequate. The nurses will take very good care of you and they speak decent English. I didn't have trouble communicating. Dr. Garcia is wonderful! He asked if I had questions, but I didn't. He said, "did you do a lot of research before coming?" lol I had, so it made things easier. The anesthesiologist/cardiologist is also great. He explains everything he will do and will answer your questions. The Marriott is AWESOME! Umm...can't think of anything else. Let me know if you have more questions!

The surgery was quick, and I think Dr. Almanza is a fantastic surgeon!! I expected it to be a little less painful , never felt gas pain as bad as that in my life, I always see these people talk about how there's no pain just gas, well that gas hurts A LOT to me lol , I think most people can say day 1-2 are the worst , but when they say it gets better and better , they aren't lying ,so it makes it worth dealing with being in gassy pain :-)
