Yes, I had a drainage tube while I was in the hospital but he took it out before I came home. It helps him see that you are not bleeding internally due to a blood vessel not being tied off properly or something. it wasnt a big deal. Good luck with everything.

What a blessing that you are recovering so well.... I live in Kissimmee FL and my medical insurance does not cover the procedure thank goodness I found Dr. Washington online running a special on pricing so I got on the books just in time because they are no longer offering it. Can you tell me if Dr.Washington does the drainage tube that is kept in after surgery? I've read some doctors do and some don't. I will be in Conway from April 29th until about the 9th of May per the doctors instructions, my consultation will be on April 17th over the phone I'm kind of scared....I hope my recovery will go as smoothly as your's sounds like its going. take care and get plenty of rest...
