Sorry--I don't check in too often. I hope you are doing well with your sleeve!
  4. I've been trying my best to get my 2 protien shakes in a day but sometimes it is just so HARD! I've been eating whatever I make my family and like you said - chew chew chew. I've been starting to get back some energy. Been walking almost every day (weather permitting). I had steak and potatoes yesterday and pork chops with rice the day before. It's funny that what used to only be 2 bites for me before is now my entire meal!
I have to share something gross so if you don't want to hear it stop here....; - )

I weighed yesterday and i was down to 275.4! Then I got an "urge to poop" (This is only like my 2nd poop since surgery) and after I went I thought...hmmm Wonder what I weight now? 274.1!!!! That was some poop! lol!!!!
Moral to this story... poop then weigh

I'm doing real well. Been eating mostly what is on the approved diet but have also cheated (carefully) some. This morning I had some scrambled eggs with sausage in it and chewed real well. Went down good so far! I've had grits, cream of wheat, soft meatloaf, mashed potatoes and topping off a slice of pizza. Oh yeah, had a few bites of Italian Creme Cake (felt guilty later). I'm just making sure I chew, chew, chew! I'm not getting in enough water but keeping an eye on my "voids" to be sure they're not too concentrated and would be lucky to say I'm getting at least 400 cals a day. Not easy to count calories when you don't eat serving sizes! Really enjoying this new lifestyle but miss food Glad you're doing good!
  6. I'm good. Starting to sleep a litle bit better. I'm still pretty tired though ~ I'm working 1/2 days this week and will go back to FT next week. I don't know HOW you are doing it! I've had mashed potatoes and potato soup a couple of times and it's gone realy well. Doesn't take much. ; - ) Mostly everything seems to taste diffrent. Too salty and and too sweet. I'm sure things will change.
HOW ar YOU doing? Have you eaten anything yet?

Haven't heard from you in a little bit, how you holding out?

Yeah, glad you found me too! I've been doing great since arriving home and am the opposite of you - hungry all the time! These clears are not cutting it for me and I've been supplementing gently with some creamies to help last longer in my system. Have not had any pain, nausea or problems sleeping so I hope you'll even out shortly and start feeling better.
