- I am 28 years old and have been obese since I was 8. You name the diet and I have been on it at least twice. My BMI is 45. I am a nurse and work with many bariatric patients. I have seen the horrible cost their health pays because of their weight. I dont want to be there, I'm ready for a change now. I'm ready to hit the restart button on my life and be healthy.
