Do your taste buds change after surgery?

I have not has surgery yet and I LOVE the taste of protein shakes right now, there is not one single kind that I have tried that I don't like or can't drink. I am currently switching between all of these: Slimfast locarb, Atkins shakes, Isopure Vanilla, Body Fortress Whey Isolate, Amplify, and Premium (from Sam's Club) and I like all of them. Will these shakes taste different to me after surgery or will I still like the taste of them? I have heard lots of people say they don't like the shakes

Mio Liquid flavoring

Has anyone been using the Mio Liquid to flavor other things besides water? I love doing this! I have been using it to flavor my yogurt and cottage cheese and even protein drinks when I use the unflavored powder. I love it! If you buy plain yogurt vs. fruit yogurt there is usually a 20-50 calorie difference between the two so I always buy plain and then add whatever flavor I want. I really like the mango-peach and the black cherry. Just a trick I thought I would share. Good luck to everyone on
