Thank you for posted the "Fat people who want to be healthy-not skinny! I think that it's important for all of us here to understand that that is the true goal of the surgery. I want to not only look better but feel better. I am tired of feeling sluggish and not up to doing anything. I am now 265 lbs. I used to be the skinny kid who was a very picky eater. Now all I want to do is eat, especially sweets. I am in the process of losing 13 pounds in order to have my surgery. I think that it is extremely important for all of us here to share what we are going through so that none of us feel alone. I am glad that I have a place to vent my feelings and know that other people are going through the same things that I am.
