Today I removed myself from a private weight loss surgery group on Facebook. I really do want to wish people well, and am seemingly happy when I see them post..."Another 5 lbs.!!" "I don't fit any of my clothes!!" etc etc etc. I just don't see how it is so easy for some people. I left the group, because I didn't feel supported...only - as crazy as it sounds...jealous. I am seven weeks post-op, and I am very frustrated today. I can't seem to get out of the 220's!! I have apparently fallen victim to the "CARB" monster. I was never a label reader prior to my surgery, and thought I was doing really well watching my CALORIE, FAT, and SUGAR content since surgery...no one told me to watch CARBS!!
