  1. If I could give anyone any advice it's this. You just took charge of your life and your health. Congratulations! It does get better. I can eat anything. Meats have to be really tender or they sit like a rock. So I am the lady that is picky about my food when eating out now. I also have learned that if I order any drink while eating out, well, I paid for it, so I always ask for the beverage to go, before I pay. I can drink it later. I never tell the restaurants about my "tiny tummy". I just order less and take the leftovers home.
If I could help in any way, please fell free to call me. I would love to encourage you on your journey. We are all in this together! Hugs to you all. Barb 520-331-3878

  3. Hi Mari, Well, I still think like I used to. I can eat more than in the beginning. Thats why we all have so much success in the beginning losing.
I can't eat alot, but I still need to pay attention to what I am eating. I went from a 18-20 size down to a size 10. I am 5"10.
I refused to take shakes because of how horrible they made me feel. I was NOT good about vitamins. I really thought that I could do that with what I ate. Wrong...... my blood work showed different. Then I thought, I had the surgery because I needed a tool to lose weight after 46 yrs of trying everything. I really need to take care of myself. I just found a shake that has been amazing. I can tell you that I threw out 8 kinds after finding this one. I am taking vitamins that don't upset my stomach anymore.
I still cannot drink anything after I eat for about 30 mins. I still can't drink anything right before bedtime, it just sits in my throat. but it is my life. So I am grateful that I just learned this is me now.
I still look at myself as overweight. I am working on the last 20 lbs. But thats lots better than my origional 85 lbs overweight. I just looked at some before photos and am trying to upload them. I like this sleeve so much that I sent 4 of my friends to my surgeon.....
