Hey there! Well my surgery went well. However, last night I didn't sleep. I was in so much pain it was awful. Then my nurse ave some pain meds and some stuff so that I would stop dry heeving, finally @ 4am I fell asleep. Great team of folks! Love them! I can't thank you enough for telling me about them!

Ok sister, my surgery is next Tuesday with Dr. B. I'm totally excited! How are you feeling btw? Are you having any troubles? Are you losing the weight like you expected?

Some on this site say that they wake up with tubes in their throat! When you get a chance can you tell me what your experience was like the day of the surgery, and when you woke up?

My starting weight is 250. I'm 5'8". Dr. B didnt seem to think that I needed to do a pre op diet. What was your starting weight? Are you losing already? Sorry for so many questions. Hope you're well! Have a great Easter!

Yes, I understand the sleeping thing. I spent the first 3 weeks in the recliner. I still will get up in the middle of the night and sleep in the recliner on some nights. I am doing well. I feel REALLY good. I havent had any problems with getting my fluids in, but same as you, my taste has changed. I couldnt stand Propel before surgery, now, not so bad. I am having trouble remembering to eat. WOW, thats never been a problem for me in my WHOLE life! Even on the foods, I'm not having problems, just remembering to eat, or making time to do it. I am so happy that you are doing well. Keep in touch.

Hi friend - Wow! You are back at work already? That's amazing. I am hoping to be able to bounce back that quickly and get back to work the next week as well. How did your first day back to work? Are you telling many people that you are had the surgery? My close friends and family know that I'm doing it and are totally supportive, but I have not told any of my co-workers. I work in a really small (5 people) office and am the only girl so I don't really want a bunch of guys knowing that I'm having it. My office is a satelite office and our corporate office is in San Francisco so I'm excited to see people's reactions after I have surgery and go up to the corporate office every few months. I'm sure it will be a shock for them to see my shrinking size

Hope you are feeling good today and you didn't overdo it at work. Keep drinking your water and make sure you are getting plenty of rest too!
