I will be performing the gastric sleeve. $4500 USD all inclusive except for the airfaire and one night hotel which they recomment that you fly in prior to surgery. Dr. Almanza has performed thousands of these surgeries and has a great rapport with his patients. I've done plenty of research and all said and done he comes out to work out for many of us who are on limited funds.

I have come to the conclusion that I am better off just paying the $4500 USD air fare and the one day hotel stay. I know that I qualify and won't be denied. I mean my insurance has a $2000 deductible and I won't even know if they cover or not once they do all the testing.
I am best off paying my 486.20 flight, $100 hotel and $4500 surgery totalling $5086 than waiting for these policies to decline me and place me through hell first. Take it from me, I am a claims examiner and the bar is placed high in order to qualify.

I wanted to do my sleeve with Dr. Jacobs but he charges $16,000 USD without insurance. My insurance won't cover however, he is a great doctor. Good Luck.
